Led by Prof. Myl\u00e8ne Riva, the team&#8217;s research investigates housing as a social determinant of health. Research in the CRC examines housing conditions, interventions, programs, and policies. Hello!<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Welcome to my research group&#8217;s website. I am an Associate Professor at McGill University in\u00a0the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcgill.ca\/geography\/\">D\u00e9partement de la g\u00e9ographie<\/a>. Je fais partie du <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chairs-chaires.gc.ca\/chairholders-titulaires\/profile-eng.aspx?profileId=4403\">Chaire de recherche du Canada (niveau 2)<\/a> sur le logement, la communaut\u00e9 et la sant\u00e9. Je suis g\u00e9ographe de la sant\u00e9 et chercheuse en sant\u00e9 des populations. Mes activit\u00e9s de recherche sont ax\u00e9es sur les d\u00e9terminants socio-environnementaux de la sant\u00e9 dans les communaut\u00e9s urbaines, rurales, \u00e9loign\u00e9es et indig\u00e8nes. Je m'int\u00e9resse particuli\u00e8rement au logement et aux communaut\u00e9s en tant qu'importants d\u00e9terminants de la sant\u00e9 li\u00e9s au lieu et en tant que cadres d'interventions visant \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la sant\u00e9 de la population et \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s. Mes projets actuels portent sur l'intersection entre l'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l'\u00e9nergie et la sant\u00e9 et le bien-\u00eatre, ainsi que sur les adaptations au changement climatique dans la communaut\u00e9 de Tuktoyaktuk. Je dirige et collabore \u00e0 diverses initiatives scientifiques dans ces domaines. Je suis titulaire d'une licence en g\u00e9ographie et d'un doctorat en sant\u00e9 publique et promotion de la sant\u00e9 de l'Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al. J'ai \u00e9t\u00e9 boursi\u00e8re postdoctorale en g\u00e9ographie de la sant\u00e9 \u00e0 l'Universit\u00e9 Durham, au Royaume-Uni, et j'ai obtenu une bourse postdoctorale Banting \u00e0 l'Universit\u00e9 Laval.
